All About Me: An Interactive Workshop
Event description
All About Me
An Interactive WorkshopÂ
About this event
We know our children are so much more than just a report or assessment. So how do we show the important people in their lives who they really are and how they can be best supported? Join this interactive workshop and create a positive introduction for your child, showing their strengths, interests, motivators, what they love and what works best for them.
During this workshop, you will:
- Strengthen your knowledge on how to think about the positives of what your child can do.
- Use a strengths based approach to define the supports that work best for your child to thrive.
- Leave the session with a powerful tool which can be shared with various people and settings including family, friends, preschool, school, medical and community groups.
If you already have an All About Me, this can also be a time to revisit the document and update it based on the latest developments in your child’s life.
Who is this event for?
Families of young children with disability, developmental delay or neurodivergence across New South Wales.Â
While our events are primarily designed for these families, we value inclusivity and welcome all who would like to participate.
