    Event description

    AYA 2022 Awards Celebration

Join us in celebrating allies who work to advance equality and make a substantive difference for women in technology.

At this event we award people, companies, programs, media, and educators for creating an environment where men and women are equally valued, honored, and heard.

    This is our why

in 2020 at RSA conference, we launched the first AYA event to celebrate all that have significantly contributed to make security and technology more inclusive. It is real, genuine, and hopeful. It speaks volumes about our intentions to make a better world for us and the future generations - a world where we feel valued, respected, and connected.

The Ally of the Year Awards (or AYA) 2022 will yet again celebrate those who are champions of our cause. We’re excited to have a moment where those who support our achievers get their time to be appreciated for their work.

The awards will be presented to the winners in 11 different categories: Company AYA, Male Ally of the Year, Program AYA, Non-profit AYA, Recruiter AYA, Educator AYA, Investor AYA, Philanthropy AYA, Educator AYA, Media AYA, and DEI AYA, all meeting a specific criterion.

We often talk about what makes a true impact in the real world and “taking action” certainly does. There is quite a stretch between talking and doing. Many people talk about doing what is right, but never do it. Many people think or behave in a certain way that appears as they are doing it, but they actually aren’t. Only a few of us are doing it – for real.

Being an ally is hard. It requires us to step outside of our comfort zone and be selfless. It means we stand up to support the person or cause even if it requires us to take a step back on our own journey.

Join us in being an ally!
