Along the Merri Merri
Event description
Along the Merri Merri is a a one-day multi-disciplinary event on and about the Merri Merri creek.
Spend time with your neighbours in workshops by local artists, ecologists and educators and learn new ways of arriving at, knowing and caring for this important waterway and its inhabitants.
The day will start with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony at Egan's Reserve followed by activities on the creek. Then in the afternoon, participate in workshops at the Neighbourhood House with local quilter Mitch, poetry with Nat Briggs and planting out a grassland verge with Chrissi Charles. More to be announced! All ages welcome. Lunch, coffee and tea provided.
