Building safer organisations for children and young people.

New child safeguarding laws came into effect on 1 October 2025, and all organisations working with children have a role to play in keeping them safe.

Outback Independent Living (OIL), with support from the Queensland Child and Family Commission, is delivering a series of free, face-to-face workshops across Central West Queensland to help organisations understand their responsibilities and strengthen their practices.
