Alpine Trekking - How to stay safe up high!
Event description
Gideon Geerling, NZMGA Alpine Trekking Guide and mountain, avalanche and climbing instructor, is coming to the store to share an alps worth of knowledge on High Alpine Trekking. And we are pumped!!
Ideas and solutions will be shared on all things mountain trekking, with ample time for Q&A.
Covering lightweight Alpine & Glacier Travel gear options, Sleeping Systems, personal rescue and more.
Tickets: $10 via Humantix and all money will be donated to LandSAR!
When: Thursday 16th December 2021, 6:15 pm for 6:30 pm start.
Where: Further Faster, 57a Buchan St, Sydenham, Christchurch.
This is an after hours event, and while we are at level orange. You will need to supply photo id and your valid My Vaccine Pass.
