Alta Onda Presents: Sabor Ancestral: A Multi-Sensory Mezcal Tasting

Join us as we dissolve the boundaries between gallery, bar, and ritual space. Rooted in reverence for land, labor, and lineage, we’ll celebrate the sacred origins of Mezcal and the people who guide its transformation from plant to spirit.  Over the course of the evening, you’ll journey through an immersive environment where the senses converge.

Your ticket includes:

• Multiple Expressions of Lalocura Mezcal

  • A guided tasting of rare pours of some of the finest mezcal in the world, sourced and curated by maestro mezcalero, Lalo Angeles.

• Stories from the Source

  • Audio/visual testimony from the mezcalero and his family about what you’re drinking and why it matters.

• Multi-Sensory Installation

  • An immersive atmosphere of film, projection, sound, photography, conceptual interventions and more

This is more than a tasting.  It’s a celebration of ritual.  An altar to maguey.  A unique chance to sip at the intersection of art and tradition.  No Celebrities.  No gimmicks. Just Mezcal directly from the hands that make it.
