Alternative Schools Community of Practice

PLEASE NOTE THIS MEETING IS A CCA MEMBER ONLY EVENT.

Join us for an inaugural Alternative Schools event for operational leaders, to be held in Sydney CBD on Wednesday 8 May 2024. This boutique event will include an agenda guided and set by participants in advance of the event, with a focus on the establishment of a CoP, its parameters and purpose. The full day facilitated conference will take place at Rydges World Square. There is also an add-on option of accommodation at the venue on Tuesday 7 May, the night prior to the conference, which will include an evening welcome and networking event for
all participants.

PROJECT OBJECTIVES

• To establish a CoP for Alternative Schools who operate in connection with a community
  college
• To provide a facilitated event where the scope and purpose of the CoP can be determined
  by the collective school leaders
• To build and enhance synergies between existing and new CCA member schools
• To strengthen capability and capacity of all CCA member schools

Tuesday 7 May, 2024 evening - Welcome, networking event; from 5.00pm.
Wednesday 8 May, 2024 - CoP full-day event; 9.00am-3.00pm, with facilitation by Deb Littlehales.
