ALTIORA - ONE DAY SCHOOL - CIRCO ARTS
Event description
This April school holidays we present a One Day School for ages 6-12 years old at Altiora.
An alternative education programme based on Circo Arts and focusing on four main modalities:
*STRENGTH *FLEXIBILITY *CREATIVITY *INNOVATION
These will be explored as a framework for Hauora/Wellbeing.
Wednesdays - April 17 & 24 - 9:30am to 3:30pm
9:30am - Welcome/Wellbeing Check ins
9:45am - Circus Arts physical training (acrobatics, aerials, equilibristics, juggling, clown etc...)
10:30am - break
10:45am - Exercises in creativity/production inclusing Circus/Drama games
12:00pm - Lunch (Shared/BYO)
1:00pm - Guest tutors workshopping from various fields of endeavor Arts & Sciences
And/Or explore the Arts Centre (museum, history, observatory, fudge cottage, foods, botanic gardens etc...)
3:30pm - Finish
Please bring lunches/drinks/notebook and physical education training clothes
*Parents can drop off their kids for the day*
