Altona Pier Revue Art Prize - Opening Event
Event description
Coinciding with heritage month, the Altona pier Revue Art Prize will showcase the work of emerging and established artists from Hobsons Bay, Wyndham, Brimbank & Maribyrnong council regions, responding to Altona Pier, its history, its redevelopment, and its future. Artworks selected for this exhibition will be in the running for a number of prizes, sponsored by Sweeneys Estate Agents, which will be announced on opening night.
Opening event will also showcase talent from local creatives;
- With One Voice Community Choir
- Dramawerkz
- Spoken word by local poets
- Community Filmmakers
...as well as all the usual opening night festivities; speeches, nibbles & beverages.
