Alwan are Yuval Ashkar (Oud Vocals and Percussion), Phil Carroll (Accordion, Ney and Duduk) and Matt Stonehouse (Percussion).

With sublime vocals, haunting instrumentals and fiery drum solos, Alwan have been bringing their unique version of Middle Eastern repertoire to audiences across Australia for the past 15 years. Earlier this year the ensemble toured with the 'Page and Plant- No Quarter 30 year album celebration' and are excited to perform once again at Open Studio!

• Limited seating is offered for all dance party events to allow for an open dance floor experience.
• Open Studio offers a patio and an outdoor garden courtyard with seating.
• Enjoy a variety of options, including sweet and savory crepes, cheese boards, jaffles, homemade nachos, cocktails, mocktails, and more, served until late. Vegan and Gluten Free options are available - please speak to staff if you have allergies.
