Join us on Saturday 29 November for an evening of "fast-paced, dance-crazy, party-driven pizzica" featuring Amaraterra, who return to Brixton Jamm by popular demand after the success of their previous gig in March.

Formed in 2011 by a group of passionate expats from the Salento, Amaraterra has grown into a multi-national ensemble, presenting its audience with a joyful and energetic selection of pizzica and roots music from all over the south of Italy, and adapting its style of music to the vibrant and cosmopolitan world music scene without weakening the links to its traditional musical canon. In recent years, Amaraterra has become something of a live music phenomenon in London, selling out headline gigs at the Jago, Jamboree, Magic Garden, and others, and developing a hardcore cult following in the process.

Amaraterra will be supported by live DJ sets from Shamika Kurian and Max Brown.
