Step into MATRIA — a vast, living installation that acts as both sanctuary and threshold. This immersive space sets the stage for a powerful double-bill performance featuring narrm-based dancer and choreographer Amber McCartney alongside Sicilian producer, sound designer, and DJ Shapednoise (aka Nino Pedone).

McCartney brings her latest, leech 2, a work of uncanny movement that conjures surreal, unsettling physicality through prosthetics, masks and special effects. Bodies become strange and unfamiliar, blurring the boundary between the human and the other, the performer and the fiction.

Following McCartney’s visual and physical odyssey, Shapednoise shatters sonic conventions, blending industrial noise, raw techno and meticulously sculpted sound design. The performance deforms the fabric of club music, channelling the raw energy of rave, hardcore and modern rap production. Tactile bass frequencies pulse through a prism of experimental noise, confronting body and mind.

Together, these artists craft an intense sensory journey and an exploration of transformation, pushing the limits of perception to their very edges.
