FAQs
- What should I wear?
Anything that's comfortable for a hike, runners or hiking shoes highly recommended. The track might be a bit slippery, especially in Winter.
- What should I bring?
Water, a hat and a rain jacket depending on the weather.
- Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately not this time, dogs are not allowed in this park so please leave your furry friends at home.
- Can I get there via public transport?
There is a bus you can catch to the outskirts of Plenty Gorge Park, however the park itself is only accessible by car or foot, so unfortunately this hike is best reached by car.
- Why do I need to register if tickets are free?
In order to reduce our impact on the environment, we limit the number of tickets/attendees, so we kindly ask you to register for a ticket.
- Can I come by myself?
Absolutely! Whether you're by yourself or with a friend, please come along and meet some like-minded hikers :)
- Do I need to be a super fit, experienced hiker?
Not at all. Everyone is welcome at Amble's Hike Clubs, and you definitely don't need to be an experienced hiker to come along. This is an easy-moderate trail. It is mostly flat, but features some narrow, overgrown paths and some steep inclines.
- Will the hike go ahead in any weather?
Rain, hail or shine, this event will go on in any weather, unless of course there are thunderstorms forecast which will force us to cancel.
- I have a question about something else...
No worries, send us an email at hello@ambleoutdoors.com.au and we'll be more than happy to help out. No question's a silly question.
