Event description

The Inaugural AML/CTF Conference, held from 1st–2nd October 2025, convenes stakeholders across sectors to address pressing financial crime challenges in the region. With the theme "AML is Everyone’s Business," the conference will cover critical topics including enforcement of reporting entities, regional financial crime trends, the grey-listing process, and the impact of enforcement actions. Sessions will also explore future collaboration with the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG).

Transparency International PNG (TIPNG) and the Bank of Papua New Guinea (BPNG) invite all members of the public—not just professionals—to join this free and inclusive event aimed at building national resilience through open dialogue, learning, and cooperation
