The School of Play (TSOP) introduces the "Full Day Teacher FunShop," a comprehensive program crafted to infuse play-based learning into the fabric of school culture, enhancing mental well-being and educational outcomes. This program empowers educators to incorporate playful and scientific strategies into their teaching methodologies, aligning with the holistic approach to student and staff well-being.

The Full Day Teacher FunShop is a vibrant blend of theoretical insights and practical activities. Participants delve into play-based well-being activities, exploring the five pillars of well-being through interactive sessions. The program also integrates science-backed information, providing educators with robust strategies to boost students' overall well-being in a fun and safe way.

Target Audience

This program is specifically designed for primary and secondary school teachers. It is a vital professional development opportunity that equips educators with the tools to foster a nurturing and productive school environment.

Resources Included

Educators will receive an array of resources to facilitate the integration of play-based learning into their curricula. This includes all resources from the day plus a year's subscription to our online membership portal, which has over 1000 play-based games and lesson ideas and 120+ online PD courses to enjoy. Users will also have access to our brand-new app. All attendees get 12 months of FREE access.

Impact and Validation

The effectiveness of our FunShops is well-documented and supported by a partnership with La Trobe University. A year-long study conducted by the university has validated the positive impact of our play-based programs on mental health, resilience, and academic performance, highlighting significant improvements in student well-being and engagement.
