Presented by Southbank’s favourite independent venue, It’s Still A Secret, these band’s distinctive Pop & Neo-Soul fusion will light up this intimate space for a soulful night of rich melodies and tight rhythms.
Meet the Artists:
Ampersand is an exuberant, entertaining & ever evolving funk/neo-soul/pop fusion band featuring two spectacular lead vocalists (Katie Brown & Isi Semmler) backed by a tight, innovative trio of keys, bass & drums (Jarrod Tutbury, Jed Green & Orlando Hamilton-Craig). Noosa/Sunshine Coast locals that have become their own second family in over 3 years of gigging, they effortlessly improvise & converse musically, creating a unique performance experience. With their recently released debut EP, Entry Level, hitting goals, the gang are spreading their wings beyond their hometown.
Lydia Urbina is an answer to every music lover who has been waiting for a new breakthrough Australian artist to emerge. The Brisbane local has been cultivating her talents and experience to form a prominent music career in her own right as a singer, songwriter and performer. Joined by her band, Lydia is a soulful singer-songwriter with a captivating voice and a knack for blending pop melodies with Rnb and rock undertones. Lydia is now on a mission to share her sound and find her fans as she continues to dive into the live music scene while she works on releasing her 2024 debut album.
Lucy Korts is Brisbane's very own up-and-coming indie pop star on the rise. Korts is known for her intense vulnerability, enchanting vocals and empowering aura. With a courageous approach to songwriting and gripping vocal presence, Lucy is fast becoming known for her distinctive sound and stirring performance style.
