Amplexus: Blood Rave

Celebrate the evening of the Waring Solstice the way we queers do best; wet, gritty, and bloodthirsty!

Adorn yourself with fangs, horns, chains, and drape yourself in all the horror of a wretched creature who Hades himself would cast from the underworld, and meet us at the Blood Rave!

Scratch your way from Tartarus toward the sound of thrumming basslines and acidic melodies. May your eyes that only know darkness be dilated with pleasure, and blinded by lust as the celestial entities that grace our humble stage hypnotise your vulnerable minds. Vampyrs, Lycans, poor souls trapped across the river Styx, come now into the Amplexus Blood Rave.

DJ Anti-State Propaganda will lure you into the anchorage of our dance floor while our fierce Master of Ceremony, Magenta, will prepare you for the great and terrible things to follow. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the surge of helpless desire for Dominique and her empowered sensuality, harnessed from the essence of the Gods themselves, an energy only to be followed by she who holds the very womb of love - Mother Eros. The nastiest stage diva with a presence that can make Lucifer behave like a good girl, Lion, will inspire you to behave baddd before dance floor damagers, Demon Pussy, regurgitated from the gaping maw of Cerberus risen to dance, dj, and destroy, will command our sound system with blood-soaked teeth and ashen claws.

Be there no mercy upon this world but the harbour of Amplexus.

The event space is located passed the gate, at the bottom of a concrete driveway that ramps down slightly. There is a large roller door at the threshold of the performance space and dancefloor, and no steps at the entrance or the inside of the space. There will be 1-2 ramps available to be positioned over any big puddles at the bottom of the driveway, and to provide access into a quiet area if need be. The toilet has one small step at the entrance and one more step inside. It is potentially large enough for two people to enter, but too small for a wheelchair to fit. The toilet has no handrail. If you have any questions, or require photos of the event space to assess your access needs people email or dm us on ig.

Blood Rave will have low-light nightclub style lighting, and haze. Two air purifiers will be active during the event and the large roller door will be open. However, depending on weather conditions we may need to partially or fully curtain the open roller door to prevent the space from becoming wet or excessively cold. If you are sick or have been in recent contact with people who are sick do not come to this event. Masks are encouraged, and we will structure the space to provide the most amount of ventilation and clean air as possible. Safe partying is fun partying!

You can also let us know on the door however your volunteer role may be helping with pack-down of the event the following day if we aren't able to arrange a position in advance.
