Amplify: New Brighton

Have your say. Learn how to create change. Connect with your community

Join the Christchurch Youth Council for an evening focused on helping young people learn how to speak up and have their voices heard in New Brighton. Meet other rangatahi, share what matters most to you in the area, and have a yarn with Celeste Donovan about local issues and ideas for the future.

This workshop will cover:

• How young people can influence decisions in their community

• Practical ways to speak up and have your voice heard

• Local issues affecting young people in New Brighton

• Opportunities to stay involved and make change happen

Kai will be provided during the session. Afterwards, for those keen, we’ll head along together to He Puna Taimoana hot pools for a free youth event and a more casual chance to connect.

This event is free and open to young people. Spaces are limited, so registrations are essential.
