The annual AMSA Student Workshop on Rottnest Island is here for 2023!
Join us and fellow students for 2 days of talks and events all aimed to support you on your jouney through higher-degree University - and best of, this is all done from the picturesque Rottnest Island. Find out about the exciting research being conductd by your peers, and hear from several special Guest Speakers who specialise in Marine Science!
The event will be held at Govenor Circle, where we will share a group-style accommodation.
The cost for the entire event is only $50 for AMSA Members, or $100 for non-Members - as Student Membership for one year at AMSA is only $49, and we encourage everyone to sign up prior to purchasing tickets to receive the discounted ticket and also a year's membership with AMSA! Ticket prices include all accommodation costs, and most food and drinks (with options for eating out). Enjoy student prices of ferry rides and join us for a productive, informative and fun Student Workshop 2023.
Student talks are encouraged (Presentation options: 5 minutes / 15 minutes). Abstracts will be open for submission shortly and notified by email - please keep an eye out to share your exciting work!
