An Afternoon with Author Annette Marner

Dr Annette Marner will discuss her award winning novel "A new Name for the Colour Blue", published by Wakefield Press in 2020, through an interview in the format of Adelaide Writers’ Week. Her novel is set in the beautiful landscape of the Southern Flinders Ranges and in Adelaide, and covers themes such as the natural healing quality of the bush, family violence, and the long term effects of racism. Annette will answer questions and her book will be on sale. There will be a raffle with great prizes which will be drawn before afternoon tea. The funds raised will support programs for women and children who experience family violence. The ticket price includes 3 raffle tickets and afternoon tea.
