2020 has been a year like no other. Billions of people around the world have been affected by the pandemic, and our vulnerable communities in East Africa have been no exception. Our local teams in Kenya and Tanzania have been working tirelessly to protect and support the 45,000 students and their families that we partner with.
The pandemic hasn't stopped us. Because of donors and sponsors like you, we've been able to make and deliver masks, home education packs, water hygiene stations, emergency food packages and so much more to thousands of families. But that's not all. Despite having to expand our programs to our COVID-19 response, we've also continued to grow our impact through our existing and new projects and extended our work in East Pokot and areas of Tanzania.
Now, we want to take the time to not only thank you, but share some of our stories, the impact you've helped us achieve and our plans for the coming months.
