An Ecclectic Immersive Dance Party with Aortic Valve!
Event description
Born from the intersection of sight and sound, Aortic Valve is a dual-sensory performance by Evolution and VJCA — seamlessly blending funk, soul, hip-hop, reggae, indie rock, and modern bass with a feast of original and obscure visuals. Think dance floor meets art installation. Perfect for movers, watchers, and the wonderfully weird in between.
Aortic Valve is the long-running collaboration between audio/visual artists Evolution and VJCA, born from Reading’s arts scene in 2001. Blending improvisational sound and video, the duo creates a live, dual-sensory experience that turns any space — from dive bars to cathedrals — into a playground for the eyes and ears.
