An Evening in Elsinore
Description
An opportunity to dress up in your finest medieval attire, enjoy a feast with friends and be entertained by Hamlet inspired art, music, dance and acting.
This is a night of diverse entertainments created by our Hills Homeschool Shakespeare Group students after months of exploration and study of Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Between shared sit-down meals, and time to peruse the visual arts gallery, tilt your chair sideways to be entertained by a variety of performances including short films, skits, songs and scenes from the play.
Please bring a plate of medieval food to share, labelled with ingredients list, that will be added to the shared buffet to be enjoyed together. Please note there is no ability to heat food at the hall.
The Saturday performance will be a dinner and dessert, and the Sunday performance will be afternoon tea and refreshments.
Cold drinks and tea and coffee will be provided - This is an alcohol-free event.
We're looking forward to sharing a medieval banquet and entertainments with you and seeing you all dressed up in your best medieval garb!
