Event description

Please join us for an evening of traditional cultural sharing from Hunter based Cultural Educator, Mr David Newham, from Indyamarra Cultural Programs (ICP). David will walk with us on a cultural journey, taking an introductory look into traditional Aboriginal philosophy and spirituality. He will share story, help build a stronger connection with place and people, while encouraging us all to consider this “knowledge sharing” and our relationship to the ‘Reconciliation’ story in Australia.

At David’s request, this event has no set fee. However, we please ask you to kindly make a donation reflective to and recognising his time and knowledge and the light refreshments we’ve provided. Thank you.

Acknowledgments:

David and our team would like to acknowledge and pay respects to the Traditional Owners of the lands on which our event will take place, the Wannaruah peoples and Elders past and present. He also wishes to recognise his cultural mentor and Senior Elder, ‘Djummu’ Paul Gordon.
