Everything we do at Dog and Bone is to increase positive impact in the world, and our annual Evening of Impact is our chance to celebrate that with you. Join other purpose driven professionals from the B-Corp, non-profit, and Dog and Bone client communities at our much-anticipated, face-to-face event in Melbourne this June. 

Hear from our guest speakers, Elisabeth Baraka from Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR); Mark Burke from Beyond Blue; Lena Charles from Clothing the Gaps Foundation; and Kira Day from B Lab Australia and New Zealand.

Elisabeth Baraka, Chief Operations Officer at the Australasian Centre for Corporate Responsibility (ACCR) 

Elisabeth has 20+ years' professional experience as a public interest lawyer and NGO leader. She has worked internationally on human rights, corporate accountability and rule of law development. Elisabeth currently is the Chief Operations Officer at ACCR, a research and shareholder advocacy organisation focused on the environmental, social and governance practices of listed companies having an impact in Australia. 

Mark Burke, Chief Business Officer and Company Secretary for Beyond Blue  

Mark has over 30 years of experience working across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, including the last 7 years with Beyond Blue. Beyond Blue’s leadership team work as trusted business advisors, partners and enablers to support Australians to achieve their best possible mental health. Mark is also a member of the Governance Institute Victorian Council, and a director of Gowrie Victoria. 

Lena Charles, Impact Coordinator at Clothing the Gaps Foundation 

Lena Charles is a proud Yorta Yorta/Gunai Kurnai woman from Mooroopna, Victoria with a Masters in Public Health from the University of Melbourne. Lena is currently Impact Coordinator at Clothing the Gaps Foundation, an independent Aboriginal-led health promotion charity supported by Clothing the Gaps, an Aboriginal led social enterprise working to unite people through fashion and causes to influence social change so that Aboriginal people and Communities thrive. 

Kira Day, B Corp Impact & Engagement Manager, B Lab Australia and New Zealand 

Kira has spent over a decade honing her ability to positively impact organisations and communities, now supporting hundreds of certified and aspiring B Corps through her role at B Lab. She has worked tirelessly across the not-for-profit, businesses, and government sectors. Kira sees the parts of our societal systems that are broken and brings about change using her unique blend of skills in policy development, advocacy, hands-on work, and engaging storytelling.
