Join award winning, internationally bestselling author Chris Hammer in conversation with Jen Cowley as he discusses his latest book The Seven.

Chris Hammer is a leading Australian crime fiction novelist and author of the internationally bestselling Martin Scarsden series. The first novel in the series, Scrublands, won the UK Sunday Times Crime Book of the Year award in 2019 and has recently been adapted for the screen. The series is currently airing on STAN in Australia.

Before turning to fiction, Chris worked as a journalist for more than thirty years, including as the senior writer for The Age and political editor for The Sydney Morning Herald.

Chris’s latest novel, The Seven, is a compelling thriller filled with intrigue, emotional depth and an evocative sense of place – where nothing is ever quite what it seems.

Drinks and nibbles will be available from 5.30pm with the event to begin at 6pm
