An Evening with Debbie Harwood
Event description
Join iconic Kiwi songstress Debbie Harwood in an intimate evening of stories and songs of a career that has spanned four decades. “Musicians are the birds hovering above the times, observing, narrating and marking. While everything changes around us our music remains the constant - soothing, loving and healing”.
Debbie Harwood is a Renaissance woman of the New Zealand music industry. Aside from being one of our most recognisable performing artists, she has been a producer, radio host, publicist, tour manager, music lecturer and music mentor, and has always championed the work of female singer/ songwriters. Perhaps best known as a founding member of the legendary Kiwi group When The Cat’s Away, Debbie is also a multi-award-winning solo artist and in December 2021 was inducted into the NZ Music Hall of Fame | Te Whare Taonga Puoro o Aotearoa.
This is an exclusive opportunity to join Debbie up close and personal in an intimate soiree of songs and stories from her life in the NZ music industry.
