Professor Raj Somadeva is an archaeologist whose work over the years has drawn universal acclaim. He is a Senior Professor of Archaeology in the Postgraduate Institute of Archaeology of the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka, but his popularity rose to the international radar following the Charles Wallace Research Fellowship Award that he received in 2005. Few people have done more to advance our understanding of our early history as professor Somadeva.  

Professor Somadeva will join us in an interactive talk at the next ‘THE GAP’ event ‘ලාංකීය ඉතිහාසයේ ප්‍රත්‍යවේක්ෂාව' to share his experiences and insights on Sri Lankan history.
