An invitation to encounter a living bridge to an ancient tradition, a chance to sit in the presence of a teacher shaped by the very heart of the Dalai Lama’s lineage.

We are deeply honoured to announce the first public visit of His Eminence the 7th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche to Christchurch — a momentous occasion for all those seeking wisdom, clarity, and courage in these uncertain times.

Recognised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama as the reincarnation of his own principal teacher, His Eminence carries forward a lineage of profound scholarship, compassion, and wisdom.

This three-day public event offers something for everyone. Whether you’re curious about improving your own life circumstances or seeking deeper insight into Buddhist philosophy, the Friday evening public talk is designed for all audiences and speaks directly to the human experience.

Buddhist wisdom isn’t about religion—it’s about life, change, and finding courage in uncertainty. The weekend sessions delve more deeply into traditional teachings and spiritual blessings, making the event accessible and enriching whether you come for one day or all three.
