Description

An outdoor pottery workshop inspired by the wild beauty of Auckland's West Coast.

Join Ish Ceramics and Outdoors Society for a hands-on introduction to ceramics, where creativity meets the raw landscapes of Auckland's West Coast.

Surrounded by the natural beauty of Piha Beach, you'll take inspiration from the textures, shapes and sounds around you. Think volcanic rock formations, wind-sculpted sand dunes and the ever-changing ocean tides. Using these elements as inspiration, you'll learn to transform clay into your very own functional piece of pottery.

Guided by Ishka, a local ceramic artist. This workshop is all about slowing down, getting your hands dirty and exploring your creative side. Connect with like-minded people and experience the outdoors through a different creative lens.

Whether you're a complete beginner or have dabbled in ceramics before everyone is welcome.

What's included:

  • A guided, beginner-friendly ceramics workshop.

  • All clay, tools and equipment provided.

  • Your very own handmade ceramic creation to take home*.

  • Food and refreshments throughout the workshop.

  • A beautiful outdoor setting to get those creative juices flowing.

No experience needed. Just bring yourself, a little curiosity and a willingness to get your hands dirty.

Workshop brought to you by ISH Ceramics, Outdoors Society and Bot Pots - All things Pottery.
