Contra Dance - A bit like square dancing, a bit like line dancing, contra dance features a caller and patterns of dance sequences with origins in Ireland, Scotland, and Appalachia where people gathered in the countryside to enjoy community, music, and dance. Bruce Young will be our caller for the evening!

- Where to park?
Parking is available on public streets (Market St, 5th St) and there are municipal parking lots within 2 blocks including behind the Degenstein Community Library on S 5th St; the lot at N. 5th and Arch St; and behind 441 Chestnut St. Please be courteous to Chestnut St. residents.
- Is the performance suitable for all ages?
Yes! Irish pubs are a center of intergenerational social life, the whole family is invited to the hooley!
- Is the venue ADA accessible?
Yes! The ADA accessible entrance is on the Chestnut St. side of the building to the left of the grand staircase. There is a ramp to reach the entrance. And there is an elevator that serves all levels. ADA-accessible restrooms are located on the lower level (LL) at the back of the banquet hall.
