The Elixir of Love, An opera in Italian and English, written by Gaetano Donizetti

In a small village, somewhere in Italy, a poor young man named Nemorino is hopelessly in love with the capricious and unobtainable Adina.
He tries his luck in many ways to woo the young vineyard owner, but has a strong rival to contend with.
Will the magic ‘Elixir’ work to help his plight? With no money, or confidence it seems Nemorino has no hope to win the hand of Adina, and so entrusts his chance of romance to a dodgy travelling alchemist who provides just the thing!

This ‘bubbly’ romantic comedy opera will be sure to tick all the boxes for a superb evening of music, and theatre.
Starring the handsome Jiacheng Ding as Nemorino (returning after the hit show Gianni Schicchi from 2022) and the sparkling Amelia Price in her debut role as Adina Co-Opera return to Griffith, with Stephanie Acraman as Director to bring another stunning opera with broad appeal!
