    Event description

It's a night out like days of old! Do you remember back in the day going to see a band on a Saturday night at your local hall, where you'd catch up with people you know and have a bit of fun? We want to re-create the vibe and we'd love to have you there!

Live music will be provided by Wangaratta's self-declared hottest and best looking eight piece band Sweet Buzz, playing a mix of pop, soul and funk tunes to keep the dancefloor going. There's no backing tracks, we're a real live band!

It's BYO food and drinks, with alcoholic drinks allowed. There's no set seating, just pick a spot at a table if you'd like a seat. Kids are welcome too if they'd like to come!

The event is funded by Wangaratta's Grit & Resilience Program, a program supported by the Rural City of Wangaratta which is all about bringing people together to increase social connection. All proceeds from the night are going to Project 365 to support their work around spreading the message that's it okay not to be okay, and that mental health in our community is something we can all get around and that we can help each other out when times are tough.

Doors open 7:00pm, music will start around 7:30pm and we'll pull up stumps around 11:00pm. Entry to the hall is via the main entrance on Rowan Street - we'll have some balloons directing you to the right spot. Bring a copy of your ticket or have it on your phone and a friendly band member will scan it at the door.

The Milawa-Oxley Rotary Club are selling antipasto platters for the night, at $30 for a platter designed for 2 people. Booking for platters can be made here: Antipasto Platter Booking

Dress is smart casual or whatever you'd like to wear, we're easy, you do you.

Hope to see you there for a fun night!
