Description

Explore clinically relevant anatomy through this guided, interactive Anatomy Wet Lab.

Get first hand exposure to a range of cadaveric specimens to help build and strengthen your understanding of the structural and functional anatomy of the human body.

Deepen your understanding on whole-body anatomy through an interactive session using a number of cadaveric specimens and real human dissections.

This three-hour practical Wet Lab session is led by a member of the Advanced Clinical Education team and gives you the opportunity to examine anatomy is a way that cannot be replicated in a textbook or digital model. Participants can expect to improve their working knowledge of tissue layers, anatomical location and orientation, all with a focus on clinical application and relevance. Explore relationships between structures, consider anatomical variation and orientation from a lens of clinical palpation, assessment and treatment.

The ability to attend an anatomy wet lab is slowly becoming a rare opportunity as more education providers are replacing this with digital learning tools only. Don't miss out on this limited & valuable learning experience.

What to expect

➡️ Guided exploration of whole-body anatomy using human cadaveric specimens and dissections.

➡️ A closer look at tissue layers and the spatial relationships between muscles, fascia, joints, nerves and vessels

➡️ Discussion of anatomical variation and its relevance to safe clinical practice

➡️ Opportunities to ask questions and connect anatomical observations with assessment and treatment

➡️ A highly visual, practical learning experience led by experienced ACE educators

➡️ Make connections between what you observed in the laboratory with movement, common presentations and clinical practice
