Description

Join us for three days of celebration and exploration into the process of transformation in yoga.

Personal transformation in yoga can be on many levels — from our every day quality of life, making new health choices, and how we relate to others, to healing from physiological or emotional wounds and beyond.

Each class during the three days will delve into how the ancients tapped into universal struggles of the human condition via discussions on yoga philosophy, followed by a related physical practice including the rich variety of the tools of yoga to help us navigate our precious life on earth.

Learn how, while our challenges may seem totally foreign to those in ancient times, their origins remain steadfastly in the human psyche and how yoga philosophy, pranayama, movement practices, body-mind connections, the senses and other concepts addressed in Patañjali's Yōga Sūtra-s have enduring relevance today.

Each day will take us through traditional yoga as taught by Agama founder Barb Brian in the tradition of her teacher, TKV Desikachar and her sanga teachers Hanna and Karina, visiting from Sweden especially for this event.

Each day involves education, breath, movement and reflection.

This three days is for anyone who would like to learn how to apply or enhance this ancient wisdom to modern life – a retreat from the distractions of the everyday, in order to immerse yourself in a way forward via the practical application of traditional yoga.
