In April 2023, we found out we were pregnant with our second child via IVF. It was finally our time to welcome another child in our family, a younger sibling for Joey. 
Andy Luke arrived on December 5th 2023, but suffered cardiac arrest shortly after birth. After 10 minutes of CPR he was resuscitated, stabilised and intubated ahead of an emergent transfer to The Royal Hospital for Women Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Over the following weeks he would receive life saving treatment, around the clock care and heavily rely on hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of medical equipment, resources and medication. 

Over 70% of the equipment in the NICU has been purchased through generous donations, and for the NICU to continue caring for the sickest of sick babies they require financial assistance.
