Did you know that women founders in Australia only received 4% of VC funding in 2023? We need to increase this number, and one of the ways to do it is by increasing the number of women investors.

From Shelin David’s experience, access to knowledge for investing in startups and private companies has been heavily gatekept until now. At SheBacks.Me, one of our main missions is to democratise access to knowledge and education on how to become an investor in private and startup companies, as well as becoming a limited partner in VC funds.

Join us for a fun and informative 45-minute workshop where we’ll cover the basics of angel investing, how to get started, and what to consider when investing in startups and private companies. This session will also explore the role of limited partners in VC funds and provide insights into various investment strategies.
