We are proud and pleased to bring you Simone Quin as our Guest Speaker this month. Simone will address the topic of structuring your tax issues – and getting it right from the start!

Simone will look at how best for an investor or founder to hold shares in a start up, how to incentivise properly using employee share plans, the R&D tax incentive program for start ups and the early stage innovation credits (ESIC) program for investors.

Simone is a Partner with Prime Financial Group.

Simone has held previous roles with PwC, Victorian Government, The University of Melbourne ventures group and has been a CFO in a research based company. Simone has an interest in the early stage companies and commercialisation. She

currently works with medtech actuator incubatees and the Runway incubator, is a chartered accountant and holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance.
