Event description

Join us at Mary Who? Bookshop for an unforgettable evening as we welcome Angie Faye Martin, author of the powerful and gripping debut novel Melaleuca. Set against the haunting backdrop of a small outback town, Melaleuca follows Aboriginal policewoman Renee Taylor as a brutal murder investigation unearths long-buried secrets, intergenerational trauma, and systemic injustices.

Angie will be in conversation with our very own Tenille McDermott, diving into the themes of Melaleuca, the inspiration behind the story, and the personal experiences that shaped it.

Come early at 6pm for light refreshments and nibbles, and settle in for a thought-provoking chat starting at 6:30pm.
