Animal Sculpture Family Workshop (Ages 5+)
Date: 24-29 September, 1-6, & 8-9 October
Time: 1pm - 2pm, 3pm-4pm each day
Location: Design Studio, Experimentations Exhibition, Level 1, Powerhouse Museum
Price: Adult $10 | Child $10
Explore, make, and play as a family with air drying clay to create mini animal sculptures.
In this workshop each participant will be given a ball of air-drying clay to experiment with. After learning about shape and form, each participant will create their own mini animal sculpture. Families can decorate their creations with quick drying paint and can clean up at the wash and dry station. When your animal sculpture is dry, take it home and put it on display.
Recommended for ages 5+.
Family workshops are designed to create conversations between adults and young learners in a shared environment. It creates a platform for learning to continue at home. Children must be accompanied by an adult, although one adult may accompany multiple children within a small group of family and friends. Bookings essential for all participants (children and adults).
