Animalia with Konduku, Kia b2b Reptant, zi!, Lolo & Nat Salih

Animalia returns for it's third event of the season, a mid-summer affair with it's nearest & dearest. Regular affiliate, the ever-incredible Turkish-Dutch prodigy Konduku, who has released music on the likes of Donato Dozzy's Spazio Disponible, Idle Hands & Nous'klaer Audio, returns for his second Animalia party at Miscellania, as well as starring previously on Animalia lineups at OHM, Berlin & Amsterdam Dance Event. His unique, minimal yet euphoric approach to rhythm & groove, often influenced by Turkish time signatures, threads his releases and DJ sets together - which spain from idiosyncratic techno to rare vinyl grooves spanning tech house & progressive sounds.

The event also welcomes the Melbourne debut of Montreal local with North African roots, zi!, who also played the Animalia x Piknik Electronik takeover in Montreal last year. zi! is very active in Montreal’s vibrant underground scene. Musically, their sets include an array of percussive grooves and sentimental breaks, a perfect fit for Animalia.

The Sunday day party will also be accompanied up by Animala's favourite locals, with Lolo's Naarm debut with his signature percussive-tech grooves, an extended b2b from Kia & the electro legend Reptant, and minimal master Nat Salih.
