Announcing the first Animalia event of the summer season at our home-base Miscellania, with NYC legend Loidis (aka Huerco S)
Loidis is the lush, swirling dub, minimal and ambient techno alias of Brian Leeds, also known as Huerco S. and Pendant. The incredible simmering, groove-driven full-length Loidis release on Incensio , One Day, was released last year in 2024, and named record of the year by Resident Advisor. In his work as Huerco S., Brian Leeds also became known as one of the main proponents of outsider house during the early 2010s. The Loidis groove is the perfect fit for a Sunday at @miscellania.
He’ll will be joined by some of the label’s favourite, and the city’s most prolific local mainstays to celebrate the occasion…
