Subsdance is excited to present our 2024 Mid Year Student Showcase - ANIMATION.

Get ready to experience a whole new world of dance.

From classic Disney films to the TV cartoons that shaped our childhoods, our favourite video games, and maybe some jokes that only the adults would get - we are thrilled to be celebrating the media & pop culture that shaped us, and paying homage to a theme that the team at Subsdance holds very dearly. Some long standing Subsdance students might remember the 2016 Animation Mid Year Show - but after 8 years and some very big changes to our little family, we'd like to bring this theme back for one very special night to celebrate the old and the new.

Expect a night of magical & fantastical acts, with Afrofusion, dancehall, commercial, chair & heels, burlesque, sass & booty, showgirl, and more, PLUS performances from our elite teams The Queenz, The Vaudevixens, SADA, and our brand new Burlesque Showgirl Troupe!

Seats are limited, get in quick - it's going to be a bippity-boppity-beautiful show.

Doors open from 7pm. Show starts from 7:30pm.

Subsdance humbly dances on Ngunnawal land and acknowledges the First Nations and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
