Free Stop Motion Animation Workshop
Description
Discover the magic of stop-motion animation and explore how science and storytelling come together!
Join Space Faring Civilisation Films for a fun, hands-on workshop where children, families and anyone curious about filmmaking can create their own short stop-motion animation. Learn the basics of how films create the illusion of movement, experiment with simple animation techniques, and discover how storytelling can help communicate science in creative and engaging ways.
Whether you're trying animation for the first time or simply looking for a fun National Science Week activity, this workshop is a great opportunity to unleash your creativity and make your own mini movie.
This is a free public workshop. You are welcome to drop in anytime between 10:00am and 4:00pm and stay for as long as you like. While bookings are not required, we would appreciate an RSVP to help us estimate attendance.
