Fantasies and Romances with Anna da Silva Chen -- Tuesday July 18th, 7pm

Anna Da Silva Chen has established a reputation as one of Australia’s finest young violinists, equally at home as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. She has appeared internationally with major orchestras including the Sydney, Adelaide, Queensland, Tasmanian, Canberra and Göttingen Symphony Orchestras among others, and she has enjoyed collaborating as a chamber musician with the Australian Chamber Orchestra, Alma Moodie Quartet, Australia Piano Quartet, Australia Ensemble, Selby & Friends and Ensemble Apex.

Here she presents a program of works by Debussy, Schubert, and Clara Schumann, unified by a theme of fantasy and romance.
