Join artist Anne McCallum for an evocative artist talk and presentation of the work developed during her 2021 residency with the Bogong Centre for Sound Culture.
Anne will share insights into her creative process and reflect on how her time in Bogong Village—a once-thriving community now marked by stillness—shifted her artistic focus. Drawing on the quiet presence of empty cottages, overgrown gardens, and the enduring sounds of nature, she explores themes of memory, absence, and the passage of time within this uniquely haunted landscape.
Anne McCallum is an artist based in Nug Nug, North East Victoria. She works across textiles, sculpture, photography, and video.
