Annual Event
Event description
We’ll be at Elston Electric from 6–11:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6 to celebrate another year of community and care over some good food, good company, and arcade games!
Come and go as you please! This event is open to the public.
From 6–11:00 p..m 10% of arcade sales will be donated to Women Unite! and Chicago United Solidarity Project. 👾 🕹️
The bar is creating a specialty cocktail just for us! A portion of sales from each drink will support our work 🍹 💗
We’ll have food from Snackie Chan, homecooked Burmese food prepared by a few of the farmers at Global Gardens 🍜 🍚, and homemade tamales from a Rogers Park grandmother who can no longer vend due to🧊. Elston Electric will also have a food truck set up where folks can purchase items.
DJ Shey Bae will be setting the vibe 🎶 🎧
We’ll have a card-making station set up where folks can make thank you and holiday cards for abortion providers and advocates! 💌
We’ll have a raffle (duh!) 🎟️. We’ve already secured items from Flowers for Dreams, Felt Chicago, Marigold Press, Scofflaw, Moonlighter, Outside Voices, Shaw’s Crab House, Pizzeria Portofino, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Chicago Botanic Garden.
The event is free and open to the public. However, we’re requesting folks register in advance so we know how many people to expect and how much food to order!
