This registration page has been set up for RSVPs for invited guests and/or their nominated representatives to Day 2 of the 2025 On Country Meeting at the Yule River Meeting Place.

Coordinated by Yamatji Marlpa Aboriginal Corporation (YMAC), the Annual On-Country Meeting at Yule River is an opportunity for Aboriginal people across the Pilbara people to come together as one, to discuss place-based solutions to address key issues affecting community. Day 2 of the meeting offers government representatives at every level a vital link to the Pilbara Aboriginal community, and the opportunity to meet and hear directly from First Nations community members and Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations (ACCOs).

The 2025 event takes place over two days. The agenda will focus on progressing outcomes on the 2024 Yule River Call to Action and Solutions Roadmap, and a culturally appropriate leadership model to support continued achievement of outcomes for community beyond this year’s meeting.

Day 1 is for Pilbara First Nations community members, with invitations extended to YMAC’s Pilbara members, Pilbara PBCs and ACCOs and members of the broader Pilbara First Nations community. The Day 1 agenda includes independently facilitated discussions and cultural decision-making on issues facing the community, and how they want to address them. Community members wishing to register their attendance can contact YMAC through the event.

Day 2 commences at 9am. Welcomes decision makers and influencers, with invitations extended to Senior State and Federal government ministers and administrators, as well as local governments throughout the Pilbara. The Day 2 agenda will include presentations from community representatives nominated on Day 1, panel Q&A with invited presenters to discuss progress on priority issues identified by community. The day concludes at approximately 3pm.

A more detailed Day 2 agenda and other information will be shared with registered attendees in July through this event page, once RSVPs have closed and the program is finalised.

Information stalls will be on site, showcasing ACCOs and others sharing information relevant to Pilbara Aboriginal community
Lunch will be provided; and tea, coffee, and water will be available throughout proceedings.
