This picnic is a potluck - so everyone bring a dish or snack!

One of our members has kindly volunteered their backyard in East Vic Park. To protect their privacy, the exact address will only be provided after registration.

This is in a member’s backyard so please respect the space - they have two large BBQs so we have an entirely separate one for vegan cooking!

The backyard is accessible (just grass) but bathroom access does require navigating steps.

Feel free to bring alcohol, but we want to keep this event family friendly so please drink calmly and responsibly. Feel free to bring friends and family.

You agree to behave with respect toward other community members. If you are not being respectful, the event organisers reserve the right to ask you to leave.

We acknowledge that we meet on Nyoongar Whadjuk country. This land was never ceded. We acknowledge that the oldest living culture in the world is still here, that systemic injustices are still present, and that activism against systemic injustices in worker rights must include activism against the systemic exclusion and racism toward First Nations people. We acknowledge the ongoing fight for Aboriginal rights to be upheld, and that we have a part to play in that too.
