Annus Horribilis - World Premiere Production

Annus Horribilis is a mock-baroque comic opera which tells the story of the Royal Family in the infamous year of 1992 - a year of scandal, intrigue, burning castles, income tax bills, ill-advised toe-sucking and duelling corgis. 

This brand new show created by composer/librettist Thomas Rimes tells the whirlwind story of this fateful year through a brilliant mixture of baroque and classical music with a good dose of silly dancing.

This production presented by Far Too Soon Productions  features an outstanding cast of some of Australia's finest opera soloists accompanied by a chamber orchestra of leading Tasmanian musicans.

Come prepared to experience the story of this family's trials and tribulations as you've never seen or heard before.
